Jason Kidd is now doing his second tour of duty with the Dallas Mavericks and the situation now is far better than the "Mav-wrecks" days of the 1990's. Will this trade work for the Mavs?

Looking at the highlights Kidd has, it's hard to imagine why Dallas would pass up on a deal to get one of the best players in the game to never have won the Most Valuable Player award for the regular season.

Shaun Livingston Injury

I really have a stomach for stuff, but the Shaun Livingston injury was quite gut-wrenching. It's pretty unreal if you ask me, especially in the basketball context. A player jumps for a relatively easy layup the BAM! rag-doll special.

Too bad Shaun Livingston's career is most likely over after this injury-- he may be able to come back, but his speed and explosiveness would be gone. Really too bad.
